Not gonna lie, I understand being disappointed that the fight isn’t more than one chapter, but to say this flashback is bad is insane lmao. Arguably my favorite flashback in the series so far. I think it's the perfect amount of fighting. Oda didn't off-screen the fight. He just gave us a montage. It's a flashback, that's how it should be. I'm looking forward to finishing off with harald's defiance and death too. I guess it's just a bit trickier to drag out a fight between three powerhouses who just swing their sword really hard, and punch really hard. I dislike how many top tier characters fighting styles boil down to 'cram as much haki into the sword and swing it as hard as possible'. While it's great for my mihawk agenda, it's not so good for having interesting action scenes. Oda just doesn't do sword choreography, he is not good at it. Zoro teleports behind his opponents then they fall over, mihawk just cuts really big things while standing still, nusjuro did the same thing. This is something we have long come to accept as one piece fans I think. Thankfully, most main characters have ridiculous powers, and he's good at making those fun to read. Gunko, sommers, and killingham were/are particularly refreshing after wano and the egghead escape.
