A combined attack from literal legendary tier characters couldn't do much against imu so how are the straw hats going to manage when imu/gunko is already backed up by qilingam's nightmare army and domi reversid dorry/brogy. Hopefully, there'll be some clues on how everyone else got away from god valley, but damn what a flashback. Knowing garp threw hands with imu and somehow remained in the marines solidified a theory of mine. 

 

I think he's going to literally make a deal with the devil to end the hunting games. He agreed to be a mouthpiece for the marines, to let them use his name for propaganda, and to not speak of it. But in exchange, imu ends the celestial dragons' hunting tournaments, and possibly spares the marines who would have otherwise probably been killed for their silence. The reason garp stayed in the marines for so long, despite hating what the world government does, is because he sold his soul to save the rest of the world from their atrocities, and if he speaks of it, there's nothing left to stop imu from bringing the games back. But aside from that, what the shit? Garp threw hands with imu and lived. I never would've expected that a year ago, but look where we are now.
